Kate Hudson was a proud mama even before she has her baby. "There's nothing to be ashamed of when you blow up. I gained 60 lbs. - it was great!" she says of carrying Ryder, her now 4-month-old son with husband Chris Robinson. "I kind of figured, 'Why do I need to watch my weight when I'm pregnant?' I'm gonna eat whatever the hell I want to eat!" But in Hollywood what goes up must come down. The actress whittled down some of the gain with yoga and Pilates, but three weeks before her film The Skeleton Key was set to shoot last month, she still needed to los another dress size. Enter strength coach Joseph Horrigan, who pushed Hudson through multiple daily sessions of interval training, weights and hard-core Pilates, and nutritionist Doug Anderson, who put her on a high-protein, low-carb diet. Soon she was back in fighting shape. "I can't begin to describe how hard she worked," says Horrigan. Adds Hudson: "I still got a little bit to go."
